Mr. Meredith M. Parker passed away Monday evening, March 28, 2011, at his Farmington residence, at the age of 97 years and 1 day.

Meredith was born on March 27, 1914, in Bonne Terre, MO., and was the son of John Andrew Parker and Catherine Gerturde 'Forshee' Parker.

Also preceding in death were: his 1st wife, Fronia Mae 'Helms' Parker; a sister, Dorothy Parker; 5 brothers: Floyd Parker; Thomas Parker; Edward Parker; Chester Parker & Pete Parker. Also, a grandson, Michael Richards and a great-granddaughter.

Meredith was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington and retired from St. Joe Lead Co., as a Heavy Equipment Operator - where he had the nickname "Superman"

Survivors Include: his wife, Ola L. 'Thurmon' Sinclair Parker, of Farmington; 2 Daughters, Janice Warnack, of Overland, MO & Judith 'Mrs. Charles' Tate, of St. Ann, MO. 2 Step-Daughters: Sandra Sinclair 'Mrs. Jim' Pruneau, of Crystal City, Mo., & Ann L. 'Sinclair' Edgar, of Farmington. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren & 18 Great-Grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m., April 2, 2011, at : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, with Dr. Rick Broadway and Rev. Willard Snyder officiating.

Memorials may be made to : * American Heart Association &/or * American Cancer Society.
