Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 24th, at the Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory, 41st & State Avenue, Kansas City, KS; burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. The family suggests contributions to the Kansas City Hospice, Kansas Office, 10100 W. 87th St., Overland Park, Kansas 66212. Mr. Smith was born January 16, 1921 in Bolivar, Missouri. He was a member of Victory Hills Baptist Church and was a Mason. Larry worked for Phillips Petroleum for 43 years retiring as a supervisor for electricians in 1982. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Geraldine; a son, Kenneth W. Smith; daughter, Cynthia Martin; brother, Judson Smith; and sister, Mildred Murphy. Survivors include wife, Eula J. Smith; son, Steven L. and wife RaeAnne Smith; grandson, Scott Alan Smith; 3 great grandchildren; step-children: Michael Anthony Bedell, Teresa Ann and husband Ken Steele, Roxanne Kaliacola, and Patrick Riley.
