Daughter of John FitzGeoffrey and Isabel le Bigod, the Lady of Shere. Granddaughter of Geoffrey FitzPiers and Aveline de Clare, Hugh Bigod and Maud Marshall.

She was the wife of Gerald de Furnivall, Lord of Hallamshire, who died in 1261 on an unknown date, nothing further known.

Secondly, she was the wife of William Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick, the son of William de Beauchamp and Isabel Mauduit. They were married before 1270 and had one son and three daughters:
Sir Guy, 10th Earl of Warwick
Isabel, wife of Sir Patrick Chaworth and Hugh le Despenser
Anne, nun at Shouldham
Amy, nun at Shouldham

Maud died after her husband, on April 16th or 18th, buried with William at Greyfriars.
