Leandre Benoit, of this city, died at his residence, 492 South Rosewood Avenue, Sunday, at the age of 69 years.
He was born in Bourbonnais and has lived in this vicinity all his life.
He survived by his wife and five children: Mrs. H. E. Langlois of Manteno; Mrs. Levi Dandurand of Manteno; Mrs. Clara Cyrier of Bourbonnais; Miss Georgiana Benoit of Kankakee and Homer Benoit of Bourbonnais. There are also a number of brothers and sisters: Mrs. George Guimond of Manteno; Mrs. Adeline Deslauriers of Manteno; Demase Benoit of Bourbonnais; Aime Benoit of Manteno; Camille Benoit of Tilbury; Prudent Benoit of Bourbonnais.
Mr. Benoit was a member of Maternity Court, C. O. F., of Bourbonnais and the lodge will attend the funeral tomorrow at 9 o'clock from St. Rose's Church.
