"Wife of Millionaires, Mother of Princess, Dies
"San Francisco, March 4. – Mrs. Jean De St. Cyr died late last night after six months' illness. Her daughter, the Princess Miguel De Braganza, of Portugal, and her son, William Rhinelander Stewart, of New York, were with her when she died.
"According to Dr. W. D. Chidester, the attending physician, death was caused by an ailment of the heart, which developed two years ago.
"Her husband Jean De St. Cyr, millionaire club man, and her sister, Mrs. Brindley Fitz-Gerald of England, also were at the St. Cyr home when the end came.
"Mrs. St. Cyr was formerly Anne McKee Armstrong, and had been married three times. Her first husband, father of three children, was the late William Rhinelander Stewart, late New York millionaire. Her second husband, James Henry "Silent" Smith, known as the "Enigma of Wall Street," died in 1907, leaving her an estate said to approximate $70,000,000.
"She was married to Jean De St. Cyr in New York in 1915."
