Mrs. Phebe Stedman, 85, died at 8:45 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Garld Harvey, 62 West King street. Death was due to a stroke. Mrs. Stedman was born October 19, 1856, in Yarmouth, Maine, and had resided here for 47 years. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Mamie Lyon, Puyallup, Wash, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Carl Winslow, Puyallup, and Miss Beverly and Lyle Harvey, Winona. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Harvey home, the Rev. N. E. Hamilton, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Bush cemetery at Ridgeway.
