Immediately behind them are the footstones of Stephen and Susan Tyng, S.H.T., and S.W.T.
The dark cross at center left is inscribed:
"Stand up for Jesus"

Next to it is the principal monument, inscribed:
Stephen Higginson Tyng
March 1, 1800 – Sept. 3, 1885.
Sixty four years presbyter of the Protestant Episcopal Church. Forty years rector of St. George's Church in the City of New York.
