BECKNER
Saturday night, September 17, 1898, of meningitis, at the residence of her grandfather, William Warren, in Boyle county, Jean Warren Beckner, the elder daughter of Lucien Beckner and Marie Beckner, and the beloved of all who knew her. She was born April 3, 1886(**shd be 1896), and was remarkable for quick, bright intellect and sweet, attractive ways. She had spent the greater portion of her life in Winchester where she had a host of loving, admiring friends. Her grandparents here idolized her, and her death is a sad blow to a large circle, who had found her a beam of sunshine, She was buried, Monday evening, at Danville, but cannot die to those into whose lives she brought so much joy and gladness. Her parents have our tenderest sympathy. Winchester Sun.
