Ona "Lee" Donahoo was born in Clarkesville, TX Oct 19, 1932 to Burnice and Maud Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years William E. (Ed) Donahoo of Del City, OK, Her son William Carl (Billy) Donahoo of Midwest City, OK, Her parents Burnice and Maud Moore, her sister Mary Frances Polson of Dallas, TX, and her twin sister Zona Childress of Idabel, OK. She is survived by 3 sons: Jerry Donahoo and wife Leslie, of OKC. Gary Donahoo and wife Linda, of Crescent, OK, Paul Donahoo of Del City, OK and daughter-in-law Paula Donahoo of Midwest City, OK; Four Grandsons: David Donahoo and wife Terri of OKC, Robert Donahoo and wife Missy of OKC, Gary Donahoo Jr. of Washington, and Chad Donahoo of Del City, OK; Four Granddaughters: Jamie and husband Billy of Crescent, OK, KC Marie Donahoo of Midwest City, OK, Dani and Allie Donahoo of OKC; Three Great grandsons: Dallas, Caleb, and Brik Donahoo of OKC; and one Great granddaughter: Kennadie Donahoo of Washington. Lee, a longtime resident of Del City, OK, went home to be with Jesus at 8:10am on June 29th 2010 after eating her breakfast. She simply drifted off to sleep during her nap and awakened in eternity in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Lee attended Dimple High School in Clarkesville, TX. She grew up in the country near a small town named Bagwell, TX. She married the love of her life William E. Donahoo and celebrated her 60th wedding anniversary on July 21st 2009. Lee chose to be a stay at home mom and raised four boys. Only then did she begin her career. She was always there for her family and her husband. Lee was a faithful member of the Grace Community Baptist Church in south OKC. She was well loved by her family, a host of friends, and her extended family that she worshiped with at Grace Community. A reception for friends and family will be held Monday, July 5, 2010 from 6 to 8pm at Ford Funeral Service in Candlewood Chapel. Her service will be held at Grace Community Baptist Church, 1:30pm, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 with burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery under the direction of Ford Funeral Service
