Mrs. Julia Iola Jerrells of Cross City passed away Friday, March 12, 2010. She was 75 years old.
Mrs. Jerrells was born on March 24, 1934 in Otis, Duval County, Florida. She was a homemaker and a mother whose greatest joy was taking care of her family. She was a member of the Cross City Assembly of God and also attended Pentecostal Holiness Church with her daughter.
She is survived by her husband Morris Jerrells of Cross City; daughter, Martha Lou (Clint) Murray of Old Town; sons Nathan (Donna) Jerrells Of Cross City, Randy (Nadine) Jerrells of Old Town, Manuel (Sunshine) Jerrells of Cross City, and Vince (Darcy) Jerrells of Cross City; brothers O.J. (Linda) Bell, Donald (Norma) Bell and Chandler (Elaine) Bell, all of Jacksonville, Florida; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two sons Robert and Daniel Jerrells.
A visitation was held Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home between the hours of 6 and 8 PM. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Chapel with Rev, Randy Richardson officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Old Town.
