Effie Jane Bonney was the daughter of James Thurman(son of William Thurman and Lena Shrum) and Mary Jane Cook(father George Nelson Cook from TN.)Her brother was Edward Franklin Thurman who married Lucy Ann Myers, dau of James Myers. Effie married William Henry Bonney,, who was from a large family. He was a third generation Bonney in the area, the first generation were 3 brothers that moved to the area.
