Born 1892 in Marijampole, Lithuania to Anthony and Ann Tomashesfsky Belsky. Traveled to this country at the age of 16 on the SS Kroonland, November 18,1908 a three week trip.Landing in Ny harbor Ellis Island as Anton Belckus.After a brief stay in WilkesBarre Pa, Before joining his sister in Harthhorne Oklahoma.Working in the mines out there he eventually meet and married Anna Scrules,August16,1912.The folowing year giving birth to the first daughter Hellen. Moving to Mckeesport PA to work in the Sterling Steel company. While in Mckeesport they had there second child Anthony jr.After living there for just under 13yrs the were on the move again.The last stop Wilkesbarre PA. Anthony now workning back in the mines the family expanded onece again.First to George then Martha, Albert and finally Pearl. All living in Lee park section of Hanover wilkesBarre PA. Anthony officially changed the name to Anthony Belsky in June 1943 and became an citizen of the USA. Giving up the mines to work for the Vulcan Iron Works till his retirement in 1953. A member of St Casimers Church in Larksville. Also the Lithuania American Alliance.
