Services were held Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with burial in Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Brownton.
She is survived by daughters Mrs. Melvin (Mildred) Henke of Arlington, Mrs. James (LorJean) Hauser of Mankato and Mrs. Charles (Karen) Schrader of Brownton; son Robert of Kerkhoven; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Adeline Davis of St. Paul, Alma Waller of Brownton and Hulda Westcott of Winthrop; and brothers John Mielke of Gaylord and Albert Mielke of Glencoe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 1963; sisters Sophie and Amelia; and brothers Arnold, Edward and Fredrick.
She was born Aug. 28, 1908, in Sibley County, to Johann and Wilhelmina (Grack) Mielke. She was married to Robert Abram Feb. 24, 1925, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Brownton.
They farmed in Penn Township until 1932, in Sibley County from 1932-1935, south of Brownton from 1935-1948 and from 1948 until his death in the Fernando area. She resided in Brownton until the spring of 1974, when she became a resident of Park Towers in Hutchinson.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson and was active in craft projects. She sold Avon products for 17 years in the Brownton and Stewart areas.
