Mike,
FYI - This person is John Henry House. His middle initial on the stone is H. He was born 1/8/1857 in Warren, Herkimer, NY. He died 7/10/1924 in Herkimer County jail. He had 5 wives, the first being Mary Eva Hadcox . She died shortly after giving birth to their daughter Flora. Flora died 4 days after her mother.
After Mary there was Cora Firman (m. 1883) who divorced him, Clara Kasson (m. 1896)who was found hanged, Adelaide Allen who married in 1901 and divorced him in 1902 and his last wife, Harriet Schmall(Schmoll) (m. 1923) who he murdered in 1924. Harriet was not without her own baggage, she shot and killed a woman that her first husband, James Schmall was fooling around with in 1900. I have attached three articles about his death. In 1924 there were numerous articles about the murder.

I was in the process of updating Cedarville memorials when I realized that the middle initial was wrong. Diane B. Turner
