Marvin was born April 19, 1922, in Nogal, NM. He retired from the Southern Pacific Rail Road making his home in Anthony, NM, until 1990, moving then to Nogal and three years ago moving to Tucumcari. He was a member of the Carrizozo First Baptist Church in Carrizozo, NM. He served in the US Army as a medic during World War II.
Surviving him is his wife, Margie of the home in Tucumcari, NM; his daughters, Tessie Curtis of Tucumcari and Anita Trujillo of Las Cruces, NM;. 3 sons, David Peacock of Tucumcari, NM, Steven Peacock of Portales, NM, and Donald Peacock of El Paso, TX.
Services celebrating his life will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Carrizozo, NM, with Rev Hayden Smith Minister of the Carrizozo First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Angus Cemetery at Angus, NM. The family suggests for those who wish, donations may be made to the Tucumcari Helping Hands Hospice at 624 South 2nd Street, Tucumcari , NM 88401.
