VERLE LORENA CARLSON
Former Clark County resident Verle Lorena Carlson died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Eugene. She was 88.
Mrs. Carlson, a homemaker, was born June 6, 1910, in Marcola, Ore. She lived in Battle Ground before moving to Ocean Park in 1973 and Eugene in 1989.
She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
Her husband, Elmer, died in 1987.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia A. Mowry of Temecula, Calif.; one son, Glenn W. of Eugene; one brother, Francis Circle of Roseburg, Ore.; one sister, Vera Sharp of North Bend, Ore.; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be no service. Her body was cremated and the remains will be buried in the Oysterville, Wash., cemetery. England's Eugene Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
