Excerpt--James Grant Sypolt, 86, of Rowlesburg, died Sunday evening at the home of his son, Walter Sypolt, of Rowlesburg. He had been in ill health for two years. He was born Feb. 22, 1870, the son of the late George W. and Mary Elizabeth Sypolt. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Avis Gail Sypolt; five sons, Guy, Ernest and Walter, all of Rt. 1 Rowlesburg, Arthur of Chillicothe, Oh., and Frank of Masontown; three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Jones of Rowlesburg, Mrs. Flora Riggleman of Grafton and Mrs. Nettie Friend of Keyser. Burial in the Red Rock Cemetery.
