Anna McCarrell

Mrs. Anna Marie McCarrell, 85, of Saxonburg, Pa., formerly of Hanover Township, died Tuesday in Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights, Pa., following a brief illness. Mrs. McCarrell was born March 25, 1898, in Chester, W. Va., a daughter of Peter L. Allison and Mary Allison. She was a member of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church and the South Side Senior Citizens. Her husband, William L. McCarrell, died in 1952. Survivors include two sons, William McCarrell of Hookstown and Jack McCarrell of Clinton, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lois) Heinl of Saxonburg; a step - brother, Robert Martin of Martins Ferry, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown, where services are to be held Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. Milo Smith. Burial is to be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Wellsville.
