Mary Louise McPherson, age 86, passed away on May 4, 2008, in Midland. Prior to moving to Midland, Mary was a resident of Lubbock, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the Lockney Cemetery. Pastor Brian Adams from the First United Methodist Church of Lockney will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney.
Mary Louise McPherson was born on April 14, 1922 in Alvarado, Texas, to C.P. McPherson and Pearl (Anderson) McPherson. She graduated from Lockney High School in 1939 and Draughns Business College in Lubbock in 1941. After graduating, Mary lived in Floydada, where she served as the District Clerk for Floyd County for over 40 years before retiring in 1987.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Ruel, Wiley, E.C. (Carl), Mace, and J.P. (Buddy) McPherson.
She is survived by her brother, Jay McPherson and wife, Kay; her sisters-in-law, Nettie, Gwen, and Sue McPherson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
