Robert Grover Sickler, Sr., affectionately known as Moe, was born on July 29, 1942, in Hagerstown, Maryland and passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2023. Moe leaves behind a large and loving family including his son, Robert "Hank" G. Sickler, Jr.; three daughters, Sonya Moats and her husband Dennis, Sr., Bobbie Jo Cavender, and Jody Yount; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one great-granddaughter; one great-great-grandchild; and his brother, Jack Sickler. He also leaves his faithful companion, Millie. Moe was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda Sickler; one grandson; and two sisters.

Moe had a long and fulfilling career as a bus driver for Washington County Transit and as a truck driver for DM Bowman, roles he carried out with dedication and pride. Moe was an avid bowler in both Duck and Ten Pin leagues. He loved fishing and was a simple and proud man, who found joy and contentment in life's simple pleasures.

Described as loving, selfless, and gentle, Moe touched the lives of many with his kindness and his warm, welcoming nature. He was a beloved figure in his community and will be remembered fondly by those who were lucky enough to know him. Moe's passing is a great loss, but his spirit lives on through the love and memories he left behind.
