Pfc. Robert F. Bloom, 19, who was killed in action in Korea, will be honored at military services Sunday at 11 a.m. in Beth Olam Cemetery. Services for the soldier, who lost his life July 31, 1950, will be conducted by the Jewish War Veterans, with Chaplin William Rosenblatt officiating.
Bloom who had won a Presidential Citation and Purplle Heart, enlisted in the Army prior to graduation from Hamilton High School. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Sara Bloom of 2315 Marvin Ave.
