Fletcher - Funeral services for Mrs. Robert Walter Fletcher, 69, of Fletcher, who died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edgar S. Holland at Arden, will be held Thursday at 3pm at Calvary Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Mark Jenkins, rector, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be George W. Fletcher, Dr. E. L. Shuford, Chauncey Roberts, John Garren, Paul Rickman and MacGruder Tongue. Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Bynum, Overton Price, Dr. J. M. Lynch, Dr. W. S. Justice, John R. Holmes, Harvey Heywood, David Harris, J. Claude Sales, William Toomer, B. H. Youngblood, B. L. Shuford, Tom Westfeldt, John Schley, John Deegan and Eugene Ward.

The body will lie in state at "Bloomingdale", the Fletcher home, from 11am until 2:30pm today.

Surviving are the husband, Robert Walter Fletcher; one son, Charles Beale Fletcher of Fletcher; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar S. Holland, Mrs. John Otis Youngblood and Miss Maria Fletcher of Fletcher; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Beale Hemphill of Arden and seven grandchildren.

Brownell-Dunn and Lovin Funeral Home, Asheville, is in charge of the arrangements.
