Hahn, Jewell Ladean, 93, at home with God on January 4, 2023.

She was born in Mayfield, Kentucky, to Edd and Allie Ward (nee Nance) on November 3, 1929.

Jewell was the youngest of 8 children; J.T., Jimmy, Govie, Ovie, Ethal, Lathel, and Nettie Ann.

Dear wife of the late Clarence H. Hahn; dear mother of Marca J. Owens (Dennis) and Bruce D.Hahn (Martha); dear grandmother of Robert D. Owens (Chris), Richelle D. Brown (Lonnie), Ryan D. Owens (Hope), Michael E. Hahn (Katie), and Katherine L. Ferguson (Cody); dear great-grandmother of Jamie L. Mcleod (Dan), Andrew R. Owens (Cassie), Isaac L. Brown, Gabrielle D. Brown, Jaxon R. Owens, Connor B. Hahn, Max W. Hahn, Cullen M. Hahn, Michael X. Bruce, Mason J. Bruce, and Miranda L. Bruce; dear great-great grandmother of Ivory Mcleod.

Jewell was a beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, siblings; as well as her granddaughter Denise L. Owens and great-great-granddaughter Elizabeth Mcleod.

Jewell was a part of the Order of the Eastern Star since 1967. She was an original member of Fairmount General Baptist Church of St. Peters, and later attended Florissant General Baptist Church. Jewell trained as a practical nurse in Kentucky, and began her career in nursing at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri. Later, she served as a supervisor at General Electric; where she was a trophy-winning bowler in the company bowling league. Jewell always enjoyed quilting and cross-stitching, and cherished time with her many grandchildren. She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 10:00am - 11:00am at Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Road, Florissant, MO 63031.

Service will follow visitation beginning at 11:00am at Hutchens Mortuary.

Interment at St. Charles Memorial Gardens at 12:15pm.
