He went to school in Seattle where he met the love of his life, Denice Hills, whom he married in 1987 after moving to the Peninsula.
Mr. Almberg stayed busy running his own business, Peninsula Home Repair. When he wasn't working he enjoyed watching NASCAR, doing wood work, clamming, fishing, telling a good joke and most of all going camping with Denice and their animals.
Survivors include his wife Denice; both his parents, four siblings, nieces and nephews, his beloved pets and many friends.
There has been a benefit account opened at The Bank of the Pacific to help his family with medical bills and funeral costs. There will be a service held on Feb. 13 at 3 p.m. at the Family Worship Center at 264 Ridge Street in Ocean Park.
