Gail M. Flint, 72, of Occum Lane, Uncasville, loving mother and friend to many, died at home on Aug. 28, 2009, after an extended illness.


Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on July 31, 1937, she was the daughter of Harry and Ethel (Lindsey) Schran.


Gail was predeceased by six brothers and a sister.


She is survived by a daughter and two sons.


Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at St. David's Episcopal Church, Route 12, Gales Ferry.
