Orville was born in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Interlachen for the past 24 years, coming from Chicago. He graduated from the Roosevelt High School in Chicago. He had worked for Vallencourt Construction in Green Cove Springs for 20+ years, working as a Heavy Equipment Operator doing land clearing and site development.
He had enjoyed motorcycling. He was a hardworking man who was gone to work before sun-up and not home until after sun-down who provided well for his son. He was a Baptist.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Geraldine and Orville (Sr.) Walk; and a brother, Michael Walk.
Surviving are a son, Dustin Walk and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with David O'Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in the Amos- Musick Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
