Joyce Skinner Boley, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many – peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on July 17, 2022.

Joyce was the first daughter of Eva and George Skinner. Born on November 1, 1938, in American Fork, Utah. At a young age, Joyce developed a love to read and learn. She was a wonderful student, loved history, studying the gospel, and sharing her testimony and knowledge with others.

Joyce married her sweetheart, Mackey B. Boley in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they raised their five children. Joyce loved her family unconditionally. They are her pride and joy. She never missed sending a birthday card or putting together a Christmas gift for everyone. She was often found on her knees praying for each member of her family and others.

Joyce was a friend to all. Her ability to listen and have empathy brought peace and comfort to those she quietly served. She was a woman of faith and has a valiant testimony. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served diligently in many church and civic callings. She had a great love for the scriptures. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and watching foreign films. It was a lucky day to spend time at Grandma's home to eat a grilled cheese sandwich and watch a movie.

Joyce is reunited with the love of her life Mackey and many family members and friends. She leaves behind her children: Scott (Julie) Boley, Trina Boley, John (Wendy) Boley, Tonya (Christopher) Roemer, and Belina (Jason) Transtrum. She has 20 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She loved her siblings Karen (Larry) Bartholomew, Elaine, (Dave) Smith, and Dale (Linda) Skinner.

Services will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Andersons and Sons Mortuary in American Fork, Utah. Please share a memory on Joyce's tribute wall.
