"SEDORE, John Gordon - After 17 years coping with the aftermath of a stroke with the strength and will to go on, John (also referred to as Jack by many) passed away on July 25, 2008, at Pine Meadow Nursing Home in Northbrook, in his 93rd year.
Son of the late Herbert & Isabel (Robinson) Sedore and predeceased by his wife Nadine (Ryder), 27 years ago. Father of Wayne (Marion), Napanee; Heather Welbanks, deceased (Ted), Amherst Island; Susan Filson (Garry), Amherst Island; Judy Frasch (Brian), Napanee and Janet Pollard (Duane Barry), Selby. Proud grandfather of 6 grandsons and 4 granddaughters and great grandfather of 6. John will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Riverview United Church, Flinton, on Wednesday, July 30, from 12:30 until service time at 2:00 p.m. Interment: St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Flinton.
