Services were held yesterday in Palm Beach, Fla., for Marguerite Brokaw Crocker Adams, 76, who lived for many years in the Bay Area and whose home became the Burlingame Country Club.

Mrs. Adams died Monday in a Palm Beach hospital.

She moved to the Bay Area in the late 1930s and was married to Dr. Charles Crocker of the California banking and railroad family.

When Mr. Crocker died in 1961, she moved to Florida and married Charles Norton Adams of Palm Beach, who survives her. She was a native of New York City and from the Brokaw retailing and banking family.

She was a member of the Burlingame Country Club and the Everglades Club, and was active in many charities.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Julia Brokaw Statter and Edna Brokaw Morris, both of New York City; two children, Dr. Suzanne White of Hillsborough, and Charles Crocker of San Francisco; and four grandchildren.

The family prefers donations to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
