YOUNGSTOWN - Ruth Aaron passed away Saturday evening at the Hospice House.
Ruth was born July 31, 1946, in Kendallville, Ind., a daughter of the late Herschel and Isabell Fockler Atkinson.
Ruth was a therapeutic program worker for the Youngstown Developmental Center for 25 years.
Ruth is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. Kenneth and Tammy Fenstermacher; three grandchildren, Khendra, Karissa, and Lawrence Fenstermacher from Helena, Mont.; a daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Mark McCullough; and a grandson, Logan Pasqual of Austintown. She is also survived by four sisters, Sheila Hunn and Karen Jameson, both of Arizona and Catherine Skarniak and Linda Shafer, both of Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lawrence Aaron in 1987.
Per her request, a private memorial service for her family will be held.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations should be made to Hospice House or the American Cancer Society.
Professional arrangements are being handled by the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
