Tita Duran was a Filipina film actress who began as a child actress. She was the first successful child star of Philippine cinema. She is the daughter of Antonio Durango and Maria Rigo.* She also appeared in numerous Sampaguita Pictures movies with her husband Pancho Magalona (Enrique Gayoso Magalona Jr. in real life), whom she married on 2nd October 1948 in Santa Cruz, Manila. * The couple was the most popular movie love team during the late 1940s. They starred in the movies together such as Maharlika (1948), Bulaklak na Walang Pangalan (1948), Tatlong Puso (1948), Always Kay Ganda Mo (1949), Milagro ng Birhen ng Mga Rosas (1949), Huwag Ka ng Magtampo (1950), and Kay Ganda Mo Neneng (1950) to name a few. Although her Wikipedia page indicated a different birthday or day of death, I followed the dates based on her gravestone.
