John Geier, beloved husband of Blanche of Airdrie, formerly of Keoma, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the age of 93 years. John was born in Leader, SK. He came to the Keoma area in 1926 and resided on the family farm until 2010 when he moved to Airdrie, AB. Besides his loving wife Blanche of sixty-eight years, he is also survived by son Bryon (Wendy) Geier; daughters Valerie (Bruce) Hawkins, Karen (Jim) Heine; granddaughters, Deanna (Trevor Bell), Carrie (Curtis Lucas), Michelle (Toby McKenna), Jodie (Lance Henderson), January (Chris Daunhauer), Candace (Brian Metzger), Andrea (Dave Ward); great-grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Nolan Bell; Reegan, Brennan, Caeden Lucas; Jay, Connor, Noah McKenna; Britney, Cale, Lauren, Grace Henderson; Aimee, Katie, Matthew Daunhauer; Hailleigh, Riley, Callie Metzger; Carson, Marley Ward; brother Martin (Edna) Geier; sisters, Hilda Knight and Edna Hammill.
