Rites held at St. Clair for Arthur Pietsch, 78
Arthur Pietsch, 78, of Eagle Lake passed away at the Immanuel hospital in Mankato Sunday, August 30.
He was born on the Pietsch homestead in LeRay Township on Oct. 21, 1885.
He was married to Lula Reisenbigler of LeRay in 1907.
He was a member of the Evangelical United church of St. Clair, treasurer of School District No. 50 for 17 years. In 1933, he moved from the family farm to Eagle Lake, where he has made his residence since.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Lee, Elysian, and Leslie, Mankato; two daughters, Mrs. William (Lucille) Lane, San Diego, Calif.; and Mrs. George (LaRene) Cram, Mankato; two sisters: Mrs. Golda Marzinske, St. Clair; and Mrs. Clifford Watson, Longwood, Fla.; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Evangelical United church of St. Clair at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial was in the Smiths Mill cemetery. Janesville Argus 9/3/1964
