Ruth (Pirwitz) Berthold passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Venice, Florida.
Ruth was born in Lake Mills, Wisconsin on August 7, 1919. She was the daughter of Ferd and Alma (Maybaum) Pirwitz .
Ruth graduated from Lake Mills High School in the class of 1937.
Ruth and her late husband Robert Sr, owned and operated the former, Lake Mills Motors, Ford dealership in Lake Mills WI until his death in 1967. She later worked for the University of Wisconsin, Madison WI at Academic Personnel in Bascom Hall.
She was a member of the Lake Mills Moravian church, its women's fellowship. She was an Elder, a Sunday School teacher and sang in the choir.
Ruth was the last surviving member of her immediate family and their spouses. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Sr. in 1967 and her son and daughter-in-law, Robert(Donna) Berthold Jr. Sister Bernice (Charles) Walker, and Brothers Leonard (Esther) Pirwitz, Frederick (Francis) Pirwitz, Charles (Eva) Pirwitz.
Memorial services will be held in Venice Florida at the Evangelical Covenant Church of Venice Isle, Venice Fl on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 4:30 pm and at the Lake Mills Moravian Church in Lake Mills Wisconsin on June 13, 2015 at 11:00 am.
