A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday July 6, 2017 at Calvary Chapel Gresham.
Daniel Ross Baker was born May 10, 1956 to Shirley Ann (Marston) and Darrell Duane Baker in Portland, Oregon. He was raised and received his education in Gresham.
Danny enlisted in the US Army where he served for 3 years from 1975 to 1978. He was a mechanic.
His mechanical skills played the main role in the various jobs he held through the years. He was a boom/heavy equipment operator, heavy duty mechanic, small engine mechanic, and transmission specialist. He could fix most things having an engine as well as some that didn't.
Danny was married 4 times and divorced 3 times. He had 3 of his own children and one step-child.
Some of his favorite activities included, camping, fishing, rafting and adventuring. He enjoyed fixing things and helping others. Danny loved his family- and his popcorn! For the last 14 years he was a faithful servant at Calvary Gresham where he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife Annie; mother, Shirley; daughters, Marie and Whitney; son, Dustin; step-daughter Alicia; brothers, Jeff and Kim; sister, Janelle; 7 grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews, and his church family. He was preceded in death by his sister Kathy and brother Craig.
