Mrs. Sarah Marie Griggs, 53, wife of Charles Stewart went to be with her Lord during the early afternoon of Saturday, August 21, 2021, at MUSC Health Marion Medical Center in Marion following a sudden illness.
Sarah was born November 2, 1967 in Florence County, a daughter to Janice Morris Small and the late Lavern Buddy Small. Sarah was a homemaker. She attended Open Door Community Church in Dillon.
Surviving Sarah in addition to her husband of the home, Charles are her daughter, Riba Turner of Mullins; her sons, Jason Griggs of Dillon and William Griggs of Dillon; her grandson, William Griggs, Jr.; a brother, Vernon (Kaitlyn) Small of Dillon; and her special friends: Barbara Harness, John Thompson, and Sally Harness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 25 at 2:00 P.M.in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Sarah will be laid to rest following the service in Small Cemetery off of Highway 917 in Nichols.
We ask due to the rising threat of Covid all in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing while around others. The service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page. A guestbook is available on our website.
