Christine Marie Coy, 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. Christine was born Nov. 24, 1935, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Alfonso and Anna Marie Farina Coy. Christine was a member of St. Pius X Church, Mt. Pleasant. She was formerly employed as a travel agent in New York and as a sales clerk for Dolce Bakery in New York. Surviving are a son, Nicholas Ondrizek, of New York; a grandson, Christopher L. Moore, of Beaverton, Ore.; a sister, June Werner; cousins, Dottie, Betty, Shirley, Bill, Nancy, Tom, Ralph and Mary Anne; and special friends, Norita and James Daniels, of Mt. Pleasant. In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by a brother, Alfonso Coy, in 1980. The family is inviting friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday to the EUGENE G. SALOOM FUNERAL SERVICE INC., 730 W. Main St., Mt. Pleasant, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Richard J. Kosisko officiating.
