Hagerstown- Harry "Pork" C. Dunkin Sr., 82, of Hagerstown passed away at home on Wednesday, August 4,2021.
He was born November 4.1938, the son of Maurice L. Dunkin, Sr. and Corrine V. (Diffendaffer) Dunkin.
He was Proceeded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia A. (Sickler) Dunkin who passed away on December 16, 2012. They were married on August 22, 1959.
He retired from Washington County Roads Department. He enjoyed playing Bingo, as well as baking and cooking.
He is survived by daughters, Brenda McCarney (Terry), Kendra Williams (Lee), Patti Wallech, Sons, Harry Dunkin (Keith) and John Scott (Tiffany); sisters, Nancy Munday of Hagerstown, MD and Sharon Lehardy of Chambersburg, PA; Eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by sisters, Alice "Sue" Gross, Grace Pentz, Pauline "Peg" Garula, and Charlotte "Lu" Myers; brothers, Maurice Dunkin Jr, twin Howard Dunkin, and Robert Dunkin; and grandson, Eric Shindledecker.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later time.
Gathering of Family and Friends will take place Sunday, August 15 from 6 pm- 8 pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown.
