Emanuel, Erbprinz zu Salm und Salm-Salm, Wild- und Rheingraf, was the eldest son of Alfred Ferdinand Stephan Maria, 12.Fürst zu Salm, 7.Fürst zu Salm-Salm, and his wife, Gräfin Rosa von Lützow. He was married at Vienna on May 10, 1902 to Archduchess Maria Christina of Austria, with whom he had issue. He died at Pinsk, in battle, during World War I.
