Karl worked for 40 years as a dispatcher for Steffey & Findlay Masonry Supplies. He was a member of the Eagles Club #694 and the American Legion Post #42. He had a great love for cars and guns. However, he will most be remembered for the joy he found in spending time with his friends and family, making people smile, and being a friend to everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Lou Hull and Donna Jean Rickard, and his brother, Earl Eugene Eichelberger.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Eichelberger, his children, Richard Shubert, Nikki Eichelberger, Victoria Griffin (Mike), Valerie Palm, and Derrick Kiff, his grandchildren, Sebastian, Caleb, Phelan, Jarrid, Taylor, Camden, Liam, Kole, and Killian, his brother, Raymond P. Eichelberger Jr. (Tina), his sister, Bonnie Lee Hall, one very special niece, Alisha Keatts, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. Face masks/coverings are required in the building.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
