On September 24, 2018, Grant Barrett, son of Fannie Bell and Ernest Barrett, died at home at age 83 in Brandon, MS. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn Barrett; his siblings, Ray Barrett, Christine Courtney, Hazel O’Donnell, and Delores Pitts; also two sons, Ricky Barrett and Gerry Barrett; one daughter, Christy Barrett and his step-son, Johnny Herrington.
Survivors include: Daughter, Sherry Bourke of Nashville, TN, and step-daughter, Marcia Bracken and her husband, Chris, of Benton, MS. Grandchildren: Jason Barrett, Jaimie Barrett, Shelley Rhodes and Molly Kirk, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, along with two special friends, Jo Chambley and Jeannie George, who were constant supporters.
