Marvin G. Thomas of Frankford died Tuesday, June 8, 2004, in Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md. He was 40.
Mr. Thomas was born May 17, 1964, in Lewes, son of Jessie L. Thomas of Frankford and the late Rosie L. Bell Thomas.
He was a construction worker for many area companies, retiring due to illness. Thomas was a member of the Gospel Kingdom of God Church in Selbyville, where he served as a deacon. He loved God and he loved people.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of six years, Vicky D. Thomas; two sons, Jordan Thomas and Dominique Thomas, both of Lewes; a daughter, Kiara Thomas of Lewes; two stepsons, Brennon K. Williams and Tyrie J. Williams, both of Frankford; a stepdaughter, Latasha N. Williams of Millsboro; seven brothers, Lawyer Hicks and Rufus Thomas, both of Frankford, Barry Thomas of Lincoln, Clifton Bell of St. Louis, Raymond Thomas of Millsboro, Ronnie Thomas of Smyrna and U.S. Army Sgt. Ulysses Thomas, serving in Iraq; six sisters, Amanda Purnell and Dora B. Isler, both of Frankford, Beth L. Morris of Dagsboro, Lorraine Burton of Millsboro, Sandra Adams of Georgetown and Rosie Coleman of Wilmington; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
