Born in Ireland. Married Ellen (Helen) Grey. They had two children: a daughter, Mary, who died in infancy and a son Thomas, who survived into adulthood.
Edward died an untimely death and was buried in the Iberville parish cemetery (St-Athanase de Bleury).
After his death his widow, Helen, married a man by the name of O'Reilly or Reilly in Iberville, Quebec in 1831. First name possibly Francis. Last known record of her in the 1861 Canada Census.
Her date of death and burial location and that of her husband's are also unknown. There's no evidence of whether she died before the family moved to the U.S. or after.
