Helen E. Maxwell Mrs. Helen E. Maxwell, of 2436 Chatham rd., died October 11 at Rockynol Presbyterian Home, after a long illness. Mrs. Maxwell was born in New London, Ind., and had lived 29 years in Akron after returning from Australia. She had taught school for three years after graduating from Earlham College. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Trinity Women's Guild, Akron College Club, and the Akron Rose Society.
She is survived by husband Charles H.; son, Donald C. of Glenville, O.; daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Ann Swartz of Hudson, O.; nine grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Billows Chapel, 85 N. Miller rd., Fairlawn, where friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Rev. William A. Heins officiating and Dr. Clarence T. Gilham officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park.
