Mrs. Annie Adkins, 85 of Skyline, entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at her home. She was born to the late Claude and Evie Mitchell, on February 26, 1934.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. David Adkins and Bro. Ben Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Shelton Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Annie Adkins is survived by sons, Benny (Janet) Adkins of Skyline and Steven (Kathy) Adkins of Huntsville; daughter, Susan Adkins (Johnny) of Skyline; son-in-law Ricky Saint of Skyline; grandsons, Lane Saint, David Adkins, Daniel Adkins, Benjamin Adkins, Brian Adkins, and Samuel Adkins; granddaughters, Katie Manning, Kellie Kelsey and Samantha Henagar; 27 great grandchildren; sisters, Vera Wininger and Mary Click of Skyline, and a number of loving nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Mrs. Adkins is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Adkins; son, Jimmy Adkins; daughter, Jo Saint, and brother, James Mitchell.
