On Friday, December 27, 2019, Loren J. Loucks, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 83.

Loren was born on January 23, 1936 in Marinette, Wisconsin to Marvin and Helen (Smith) Loucks. Loren moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1956 and began his 35+ year career at the Continental Can Company, retiring in 1991. He was an avid fisherman, sports fan, and a lover of life. He was known for his quick wit, passion for arguing politics, and love for his family and his dog Buttons. He was always the life of the party and will be deeply missed by his friends and loved ones.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Helen; brothers Marvin JR, Edgar, Raymond, and Roger; and sisters Virginia (Mech) and Shirley (Swearingen). He is survived by his wife Betty, his five children: Steve (Susie), Vickie, Dean (Eileen), Dale, and Mark (Diane); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK- CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005 with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
