Beverly May Orr was born May 26, 1944 in Missoula, Montana to Corlus and Bertha (Hayden) Coughren. She grew up and attended school in Missoula. Bev met Orville Orr at the University of Montana while they were working in food service at the University. Bev earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Home Economics and Social Welfare. On September 9, 1967 Bev and Orville were married in Missoula. They later had a Temple marriage in Chicago in 1988. Bev and Orville made their home in Chicago from November 1967 to September 1969. They then moved to South Minneapolis where they lived until moving to Blaine in 1970. From there they moved to Isanti in 1976. Bev worked as a child protective investigator for Hennepin County Family Services for many years. She also was active in the Princeton Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.
Beverly Orr passed away December 13, 2011 at home at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 17 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Marvin Coughren.
Bev will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Orville; son, William (Sandi) Orr of Bells, Texas; two daughters, Cynthia (Travis) Lilleboe of Mora, Kristine Orr of Isanti; three brothers, Donald (Susan) Coughren of Pablo, Montana, Dick (Marilyn) Coughren of Pasco, Washington, Gordon (Lorelie) Coughren of Miles, Washington; sister-in-law, Cheryl Coughren of Richland, Washington; 5 grandchildren, Samantha, Jerry, W. Alex, Dezarae and Randy; and by many other relatives and friends.
