A native of Cabarrus County, he was the husband of 72 years to Dottie Gilmore Kiser, who survives and the son of Parker Davis and Flonnie Honeycutt, both deceased. Mr. Kiser was a WWII veteran, serving in the U. S. Navy. He was a founding member of the Alamance County War Memorial in Graham. Mr. Kiser was a retired barber and a member of the First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include his children, Frieda Gregory, Pete Kiser and wife Sherry and Judy Harris and husband Robbie; six grandchildren, Davis Gregory, Melissa Long, Parker Kiser, IV, Wesley Kiser, Zachary Harris and Jacob Harris; eight great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Temperance Montgomery, Blanche Moore, Bertha Simpson, Geraldine Walker and Sam Kiser.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, William "Bill" Gregory; a great-grandchild, Braelyn Harris and one sister, Virginia Smith.
