Louis Shepard was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was a man of unquestionable character and integrity. He possessed an uncanny ability to develop life-long friendships, often through his sincere actions and deeds. His generosity was boundless, and he cared deeply for his family and friends, and they in turn, cared for him. The bonds of his friendships were interwoven into the fabric of his life’s story. One’s social status was immaterial to Louis, as he would have preferred to be penniless in the face of a child in need. As a father, he imbued the virtues of selflessness and courage into his children, and as a grandfather and great-grandfather, he showered his beloved great/grandchildren with unconditional love and support. Louis’ love for his soul-mate, Linda, was a source of strength to us all. He will be missed beyond words.
