Memorial services for Gene Oliver Autry will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be immediately following the service.
Mr. Autry, 75, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Roseboro, NC, March 22, 1944, he was the son of the late Gaddis Autry and Alma Williamson Autry. He was the Owner and Operator of Gene Autry's Trucking Company. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Diane W. Autry of Hamer; children, C'Mone Williams (Lenroy Ferris) of Hamer, Melissa Autry (Greg Cook) of Hamer, Teresa Hunt of Dillon, and Chris Autry (India Willis) of Hamer; grandchildren, Katie, Kiarra, Cierra, Brandon (Quasha), Red, Aaron, Nate, Kev, and Malyk 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Edna (Ron) Ladner of Landon, NC; brother-in-law, Ronnie Puett.
